A GRA-certified moissanite ring gives you the look of a large diamond solitaire for a fraction of the cost, in a stone hard enough for daily wear. Here is what to check before you buy.

Stone: look for DEF colour and VVS clarity

GemHub moissanite is colourless (D to F) with VVS clarity and comes with a GRA certificate. Round brilliant cuts show the most fire; cushion, oval and radiant cuts look larger for their carat weight; emerald cuts are the choice for a quieter, vintage style.

Metal: silver, vermeil, gold or platinum

  • 925 sterling silver and 18K gold vermeil keep the price low and are ideal for fashion rings, gifts and first engagement rings.
  • BIS-hallmarked 14K and 18K gold or 950 platinum are recommended for a ring worn every day for years, and can be made to order with a free CAD render.

Size and fit

Every ring is available in standard Indian sizes; if the size is wrong on arrival, write to care@gemhub.in and we will arrange resizing. Solitaires from 1 to 3 carats suit most hands, while 5 carat and larger stones make a statement on the right finger. Compare sizes in person at our Gurgaon showroom.

Care

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Remove vermeil rings before swimming, exercising or using perfume and hand sanitiser to keep the gold layer bright. Store separately in a soft pouch. Read our certified moissanite rings guide for more.

How long does a moissanite ring last?

The moissanite stone lasts a lifetime; it does not cloud, fade or scratch under normal wear. A sterling silver or vermeil setting lasts years with care, while 14K/18K gold or platinum settings last for decades.

Is a moissanite ring good for an engagement ring?

Write to care@gemhub.in and we will arrange resizing. Ready-to-ship rings can also be returned within 30 days of delivery in original condition, with a free first return.
