Round Cut Rings

Showing 27 of 123 products

Round cut rings are the shape we sell most, because the round brilliant returns more white light than any other cut and suits solitaire, halo and pave settings equally well. Every centre stone is IGI certified as a lab-grown or natural diamond, or GRA certified as moissanite, and is set in BIS-hallmarked gold or 950 platinum in sizes from 1 ct to over 10 ct. Try a round against an oval or a cushion at our Sector 45, Gurugram showroom, or see the full range of engagement rings.

Round cut ring buying guide

The round brilliant is the most popular diamond shape in the world because its 57 or 58 facets return more light than any other cut. GemHub round cut rings are set with IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds or GRA-certified moissanite in silver, gold vermeil, BIS-hallmarked gold and 950 platinum.

Why cut grade matters most

On a round brilliant, cut is graded on the certificate. An Excellent or Very Good cut grade produces the sparkle the shape is famous for; a Good cut can look dull even at high colour and clarity. Ask for the cut grade before carat or colour.

Carat and finger coverage

A 1 carat round measures about 6.5 mm across, 2 carats about 8.1 mm and 3 carats about 9.3 mm. Because lab-grown diamonds and moissanite cost far less per carat than mined diamonds, a 2 to 3 carat round solitaire is realistic for most budgets.

Settings that suit a round

  • Four-prong solitaire shows the most light and is the classic engagement setting.
  • Six-prong is more secure for larger stones.
  • Halo makes the round look larger; pavé bands add sparkle along the shank.
  • Bezel protects the stone for active wearers.

Colour and clarity

E to G colour and VS clarity gives a colourless, eye-clean round without paying for grades you cannot see. Compare shapes in our diamond shape guide or try rounds on at the Sector 45 Gurugram showroom. Every ring can be customised with a free CAD render; free insured shipping across India.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the round brilliant the most popular cut?

Its 57 or 58 facets are optimised to return the maximum light, giving the brightest sparkle of any shape. It also suits every setting style.

How big is a 1 carat round diamond?

About 6.5 mm in diameter. A 2 carat round is about 8.1 mm and a 3 carat round about 9.3 mm.

What cut grade should I choose for a round diamond?

Excellent or Very Good. Cut grade has more effect on a round brilliant's sparkle than colour or clarity.

Is a round moissanite as sparkly as a round diamond?

Yes, and it shows slightly more rainbow fire. Moissanite rounds are GRA certified and cost far less per carat.

Can I choose the setting for a round cut ring?

Yes. Any round can be set in a four or six prong solitaire, halo, pavé or bezel design in gold or platinum after you approve a free CAD render.
