At 7.85ct DEW, the Asscher cut's hall-of-mirrors effect operates at a scale where it becomes genuinely immersive — the large step facets create tunnels of reflected light that pull the eye deep into the stone.
The Asscher's defining visual property — the geometric infinity-mirror depth created by its parallel step facets — scales dramatically with size. At 3ct, it is a subtle, sophisticated effect. At 5ct, it is clearly visible and compelling.
