On the finger the stone runs almost knuckle to knuckle. The set shoulders taper into a plain band at the back, which keeps the ring easy to turn.

This is not a plain solitaire. Small stones run along both shoulders, and a second row is tucked around the basket where only a side view finds it.

The lower half of the band is left plain, so there is nothing set against the palm.
