Customise this pieceOne Stone, Nothing Else
A round cut has to be seen moving before you can judge it. Watch the centre of the stone as it passes the light, and watch how much of the setting you can see behind it.
Flat light and a white background give you the outline and little else. The stone fills almost the whole width of the setting, and the bail is narrower than the stone is wide.
A single hard light is what makes a moissanite throw coloured flashes rather than white ones. On a dark cloth the flashes read as separate points instead of a general glare.
Velvet kills reflection everywhere except the stone, so this is the closest a photograph gets to evening light. The metal goes almost invisible and the outline floats.
A 20 ct DEW round stone is about the width of a small coin. It is not a piece that disappears under a shirt, and it was not designed to.
The bail is a flat tapered loop rather than a round wire, so it sits square to the chain instead of rolling. A standard fine chain passes through without forcing.
