A Halo, Not A Plain Heart

A continuous row of small round stones follows the heart the whole way round, into the cleft at the top and down to the point. Four claws hold the centre stone.

The Loop Sits Behind

There is no bail on the front. A flat bar runs across the back, so the chain passes behind the piece and the heart lies flat rather than tipping forward.

Cut Away Behind

From the reverse the metal is pierced in the same heart shape, open behind the centre stone and open again behind every small stone in the halo.

Flat Against The Skin

Because the chain runs through a bar on the back, the pendant does not tip or spin on the chain. It stays face-up at the base of the throat.

The halo widens the outline by a couple of millimetres on every side, which is what makes a 3.15 ct heart read larger than its weight.
